Vers le vert!
Avec C-vert du YMCA
A collaboration with the YMCA's C-Vert program, which aims to raise awareness among young people about sustainable agriculture, urban biodiversity and environmental action through concrete and practical activities.
The program includes a mushroom cultivation workshop, an activity to remove invasive exotic species at the Hippodrome, and the planting of 68 trees and bushes at Sainte-Justine Hospital.
The series of workshops concluded with a project conceived and carried out by the young participants: the construction and personalization of birdhouses to support biodiversity in their neighborhood. The birdhouses will be installed in various green spaces along the Darlington Ecological Corridor, allowing participants to make a tangible contribution to creating habitats for urban wildlife.
